I had a plan to investigate the creepy man and reveal the truth about him. His intentions were not good. My concerns were confirmed. It was Saturday and I was hanging around the neighborhood with the other girls. Suddenly I saw the car of the creepy man. He came out and began a conversation with another person. Again I saw the creepy man’s ugly smile. He didn’t see me and my friends. We were far enough. I explained this man was my mother’s chaser who was trying to buy her. My friends were terrified. They were born in Brooklyn and told me the creepy man was a loan shark and a member of an Italian crime family. I told my mom everything I had learned and she was shocked. In the evening we heard footsteps. The bell rang but we stood silent. The creepy man understood he wasn’t invited and said he would take his reward for all the money he had spent.
